A number of Liverpool players have been selected in the latest England squads named today...
Daniel Sturridge has been named in the full England squad for the upcoming World Cup Group H qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro.
The 23-year-old was forced to pull-out of the last international due to injury but retains his place alongside Liverpool team mates Steven Gerrard and Glen Johnson.
Former Reds boss Roy Hodgson's side will play back-to-back fixtures on March 22 and 26 with the Three Lions welcoming San Marino to Wembley before travelling to Montenegro.
After four games, England trail the Montenegrins by two points in the six team qualification group from which only the top team is assured of progress to the 2014 finals in Brazil.
The most high profile inclusion in the latest squad is Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand who last featured in a 2-2 draw against Switzerland in June 2011.
West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster is also named for the first time in two years after previously making himself unavailable for selection.
Elsewhere, Stuart Pearce's U21 squad boasts five Liverpool players as they prepare for matches against Romania at Wycombe on March 21 and Austria at Brighton on March 25.
Jordan Henderson, Jonjo Shelvey, Raheem Sterling, Andre Wisdom and Jack Robinson are the young Reds selected by Pearce.
